Workshop Description: This workshop will provide an overview of the event planning process on Drexel's campus and tips for successful execution. We'll discuss planning intentional events that tie into your organization's purpose. We'll also go over event services, catering, and funding opportunities. Lastly, there will be tips for recap and feedback.
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Plan creative and mission specific events with their organization's purpose in mind.
- Identify and utilize the different offices available to them for assistance in event planning and execution.
- Have a greater understanding of the processes and paperwork associated with those offices.
- Effectively recap events and attain feedback from attendees.
*Student Organization Management | CEO LEAD Certificate Specialization Series: If students attend any three (3) Student Organization Management Workshops in addition to six (6) CEO LEAD Workshops throughout the 2012-2013 academic year, students will earn a CEO LEAD Leadership Certificate and a Specialization in Student Organization Management. Note: All Specializations and CEO LEAD Leadership Certificates will be distributed at the Annual CEO LEAD Awards & Recognition Reception in Spring 2013.
